Nickelodeon Scores Big at the FICCI BAF Best Animated Frames'Awards 2015

 Drumrolls Please! India’s leading Kids entertainment destination, Nickelodeon has scored a double whammy at the BAF - “The Best Animated Frames Awards” 2015.  The awards ceremony held at the ongoing Media and Entertainment convention FICCI Frames in Mumbai saw the house of engaging and endearing characters garner 2 most coveted awards.   The awesome twosome Motu Patlu was adjudged the “Best animated character design of the Year”.  The fun gang Pakdam Pakdai’s movie debut “Pakdam Pakdai Doggy Don vs Billiman was adjudged “Best Animated Film” (Telefilms – Indian).

Speaking on the momentous Anu Sikka - Head Programming, Kids Cluster, Nickelodeon said “Winning an award of such repute is an acknowledgment of our efforts at creating endearing characters that connect with children.  Creating such adorable characters could not have been possible without the support of our partners like Toonz International and Maya Digital who bring alive our toons for our viewers” 

The FICCI BAF awards were instituted in 2004 by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry [FICCI] to recognize and honor talent from the field of Animation. This first ever Animation Awards in India grew over the years to encompass awards not only in Animation, but also in the VFX and Gaming fields.
