Nippon Paint launches new Ad Campaign featuring Blobby

Nippon Paint (India) recently launched a new Ad Campaign that features their Brand Ambassador, the animated character Blobby. Mr. S Mahesh Anand, President – Decorative Paint, Nippon Paint India, unveiled the new Ad campaign and said the company is delighted to know that the campaign is being received well by all including some celebrities.

 Nippon’s Ad campaign, created by Rubecon, features Blobbies. Blobby is the Brand Ambassador for the campaign and it has evolved from a Paint Blob (drop) hence the name. Blobbies are not just colours. Some of the Blobbies have different functionalities also like Air Purifying Blobby, Heat Resistant Blobby, Stain Repellent Blobby etc. While all the Paint brands use different celebrities as the faces, we use an interesting caricature called Blobby, which is fun, cute, lovable and powerful.

Resonating with Nippon’s positioning of hi-tech paints that stand out for its international quality, Blobbies, enabled with hi-tech gadgets protect walls. This new ad campaign is being telecast on all the leading channels of Tamil Nadu.
