Nissan launches the new diesel-powered Micra!

Following the successful commercial launch of the premium ‘New Micra’ compact hatchback range, Nissan today announced the launch of the new diesel-powered Micra XE variant. With this new diesel entry variant, Nissan now broadbases it’s offering to 12 variants of Micra in India, giving customers an extensive choice. Sales of the new diesel-powered Micra entry level variant will commence from September 4, 2013.

The entry level Micra XE is based on the popular fourth generation city car with major redesigned exteriors, refreshed premium interiors and exhaustive list of advanced user friendly features adding to the dynamic new look.

The New Micra XE offers  good value with sporty exterior styling along with affordable price, spacious interiors and good fuel efficiency. The diesel-powered Micra XE variant comes with fuel economy of 23.08 kmpl (certified by ARAI). The New Micra XE shall be available in a range of six colours: Olive Green (new), Turquoise Blue (new), Blade Silver, Storm White, Onyx Black and Brick Red. The car is priced most competitively priced in its segment providing a complete package of features, performance, drivability and comfort.

Speaking on the occasion, Kenichiro Yomura, President of Nissan India Operations & MD & CEO, Nissan Motor India said, “The launch of new Micra range in July received an overwhelming response from our customers.
