Nitin Karkare promoted as CEO at FCB Ulka

Close on the heels of Rohit Ohri officially taking on the role of Group Chairman & CEO at FCB Ulka on January 4, 2016, comes the news of Nitin Karkare’s promotion as CEO. Prior to the elevation, Karkare was COO, Mumbai and Bangalore at FCB Ulka.

Commenting on the elevation, Rohit Ohri, Chairman and CEO FCB Ulka Group said, “My first priority in my new assignment is to ensure that we have the right people in the right leadership roles. Karkare had joined the agency (then known as Ulka) as a trainee in 1986. He left FCB Ulka to work with Everest Advertising for a few years before rejoining the agency in 1993. In the course of his career, Karkare has worked with big clients like Zee, Tata Motors, Wipro, ITC, Zodiac, Nerolac, Godrej, Castrol, Amul, and Ceat, among others.
