Gurpreet Singh Bhatia, CEO – Livguard Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd, comes with a formidable experience of over 25 years in B2B and B2C channels in local and global roles in Marketing, Sales and Strategy. Armed with required experience of successfully operating in large, multicultural and cross functional team both at local and global levels and supported by strong leadership and communication skills, Bhatia has been instrumental in planning new entries and establishing brands at small district levels, National and International geographies in his previous roles. Livguard is an emerging powerhouse in the energy solutions space. The company stands for technical achievements, innovation, quality, reliability and contemporariness.

 A precious childhood trait that you still possess?
As a son of an army officer imbibed the value of discipline and respect for women. I still believe in chivalry and making sure I do everything to meet my part of the handshake.

Ever wished you had super hero Powers?
I recently watched Aquaman and was again reminded that most superheroes have a unique quality of having “tough exterior with a soft core”

What is your biggest fear and how do you face it?
I have had several freak accidents and always fear being on the road. I try to be a safe driver always assessing and adjusting to the environment.

A secret that you have which no one knows about?
I am a very open and transparent person with my friends, family and colleagues. None that I can think of and would like it to remain like this way forever.

What would one find in your playlist?
From Dire Straits to Phil Collins to Justin Bieber, I enjoy music of all genres.

Your go-to activity to relax?
A game of Golf with great friends

What is the greatest lesson that you have learnt from life so far?
There is no substitute for hard work and keep learning.

Which two organizations outside your own do you know the most people at and why?
My role involves engaging with investors, agencies, customers and I am very happy to engage stakeholders as diverse as this.

Two things about this industry you don't like or don't understand?
I am very new to the energy storage industry and I find select people with excellence from who I intend to learn and improve my understanding.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Spain for its great food, pristine natural beauty, rich heritage and culture and friendly people
