Ogilvy China appoints Melinda Po as President of Advertising

Melinda Po has been appointed as President of Advertising business by Ogilvy China.

According to the media reports, She will be responsible for leading Ogilvy’s advertising business across China and will work together with Chris Reitermann, CEO, Asia and Greater China, and office heads to build Ogilvy’s leadership in brand strategy and creative reputation.

Before getting appointed, Melinda has worked with Edelman China as chief operating officer. She was also associated with Ogilvy Shanghai as managing partner for more than 2 years for building a portfolio of international clients across the FMCG, retail, automobile and cosmetics sectors and has also worked with AKQA Shanghai as director of client service turning the agency into a key digital brand partner in China.

Prior to this, Melinda had joined OgilvyOne in Taiwan as group account director and was associated with the company for more almost 7 years.
