Ogilvy's Karthik Srinivasan calls it quits

Karthik Srinivasan, National Lead, Social@Ogilvy has decided to bid adieu to the agency after a stint of five years. Srinivasan announced about his decision on Twitter and also confirmed starting his own venture.

He plans to conduct training and workshops, consulting on digital/social media marketing and digital/social media PR. He tweeted, “My main workshop product is 'Personal branding via social media', for senior professionals - day-long, intensive and hands-on workshops given the amount of work I have done on this topic and having enough material to write a book on it (which I fully intend to do too). The lack of a 9-to-5 routine will hit me from April 2 onwards, but I'm also strangely looking forward to it, because (a) I do not have to navigate manic Bengaluru traffic every day and (b) kids summer holidays are on so I'd have my hands full anyway :).”

Srinivasan is a communications professional with 2 decades' experience in creating, building and managing perceptions of brands across agency and client environments. He has been associated with Flipkart as AVP-corporate communications and Edelman as Head, Digital Strategy prior to joining Ogilvy.
