OMD India wins media mandate for Renault-Nissan

The Renault-Nissan Alliance has appointed OMD India as the media agency for both Renault and Nissan brands in India. Renault will be launching their cars in the Indian market starting mid-2011, while Nissan has recently launched the Micra in India.

Following a multi agency pitch, OMD India won the account and will be handling all media duties for all existing and new brands of Renault and Nissan. The appointment comes into effect immediately.

Companies that participated in the pitch include ZenithOptimedia, Starcom and Dentsu.

The new account win will add to the remarkable client list of OMD which includes Johnson & Johnson, Intel, Reliance Communications, HP, Ferrero, Henkel, Visa, Parle Agro etc.
