On World Mental Health Day, Unerase Poetry presents 'We are all gifted'

On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Amandeep Singh & Hasan Baldiwala, in collaboration with Mpower Minds, put together a poem “We are all gifted” which gives an insight on the challenges and difficulties one faces while battling depression. The poem touches upon the need to recognize and share your fears anxieties with family and friends.

“We are all Gifted” is a dialogue which Amandeep has with his uncle, who is a psychiatrist. In this exchange, Amandeep travels back in time and narrates stories of a time when he was struggling to overcome his depression. The poem urges everyone to talk about feelings which are bogging them down. It is a creative attempt for people to open-up, recognize and understand mental health issues.

Talking about the same, Qyuki creator UnErase Poetry’s founder, Simar Singh,  shares, “This initiative is extremely important to us, the dialogue to create more awareness around mental illnesses to stamp out stigmas in society has been long due. We are glad to have partnered with Mpower, a mental health initiative that is doing some extraordinary work in the field of mental health. Amandeep’s story is empowering and moving, Hasan’s music is soothing and captivating, this collaboration overall is just perfect for all of us.”

Sharing his thoughts on the same, Sagar Gokhale, COO at Qyuki, says “We are proud to be associated with creators like Unerase who have always been bold come out in open and urged people to talk about things. They have created a strong platform for every citizen to voice their opinion. Their boldness and courage to break the norms is the primary reason behind their popularity. At Qyuki, our continuous endeavor is to nurture and support talent that can influence a change in society.”
