Onlymyhealth.com announces the 2nd edition of HealthCare Heroes Award

After the huge success of 1st edition, Jagran New Media’s Health and lifestyle portal, Onlymyhealth.com is all set to host the second edition of The HealthCare Heroes Award on February 4th, 2022. In this virtual ceremony, OnlyMyHealth.com aims to recognize, applaud and honour individuals and institutions that have been on the frontlines of fighting the pandemic in the country. 

The outbreak of Covid-19 engulfed the entire nation in anxiety and fear. Amidst these testing times, positive stories of resilient people and organizations who are fighting the pandemic to make India strong again, need to make headlines. The HealthCare Heroes awards is an attempt in the direction to salute these ‘Corona-Warriors’ whose selfless service, initiatives, altruistic spirit and a never say die commitment helped save lives during the unprecedented pandemic. Bringing this major virtual event especially in such unprecedented times, Megha Mamgain, AVP & Business Head, Health & Lifestyle Verticals, Jagran New Media said, " Despite the cruel second wave of the pandemic that left our country scarred, the stories of courage, compassion, duty and service to humanity from across the country that the nominees of Healthcare Heroes Awards, 2022 bring, will give faith to society that all is not lost. There are 9 main categories: ‘Mental Health Warriors, ‘Poshan Warriors’, ‘Oxygen Warriors’, ‘Digital Healthcare’, ‘Life Savers’, ‘Awareness Warriors’, ‘Distress Relief Heroes’, ‘Mother’s and Infant Care’ ‘Reel To Real Superheroes’. 

The winner in each sub category will be chosen by a special jury. The Jury panel boasts of names like DR Chandrakant Lahariya (Physician - Epidemiologist & COVID-19 Vaccines Expert), DR Nimesh G.Desai (Professor of Psychiatry & Ex-Director, IHBAS-Delhi), DR Vivek Nangia (Principal Director & Head, Pulmonology, Max Hospitals, Saket), DR.
