Ozone Media launches tailored products for branding

Ozone Media, Leading Ad-Network in India expands its service offering by introducing a separate vertical to cater to Branding on digital platforms. As a leading ad network in India, it is pioneering the concept of tailored products for branding, aggregating the long tail of digital content. As part of the expansion, Arvind Mishra, ex Mauj Mobile and Diyang Bharadwaj, Founder Member Zed Digital have been roped in to spearhead this initiative.

On the expansion, Kiran Gopinath, CEO and Founder, Ozone Media said, "Mobile and digital is getting the much due attention from advertisers, with digital brand campaigns gaining interest from traditional advertisers. We expect to this category to outpace the already high growth rate of internet advertising. Until now ad networks did not find their rightful place in branding campaigns primarily because their offering(s) were not tailored to meet the requirements a digital branding campaign demands.. Ozone Media now has tailored products and services to meet these requirements. Drawing largely from its operational depth and intelligence based on user's online behavior."

Ozone Media has grown its headcount by almost 50% since Jan 2010. This is in wake of the recovery of advertising budgets and increase in internet advertising spends, thrust of more industries towards digital advertising. Ozone has seen a 60% growth in the campaigns run on its network, and interest of traditional advertisers like FMCG, Consumer Goods subscribing to online ad display advertising. According to a recent FICCI report, the Indian advertising industry is expected to grow by 12 percent in 2010 to reach INR 246.9 billion . Internet advertising, in particular, continues to generate huge interest and, given its small base, is expected to grow the fastest at a CAGR of 29.6 percent over the next five years.

Arvind Mishra would Head the Brand Vertical and brings an in-depth sales experience with print & digital media· Prior to Ozone Media, he has been with Webdunia.com and Mauj Mobile, heading their sales divisions nationally.

Divyang comes on board to take on the responsibility of the performance vertical. Prior to joining Ozone Media, Divyang was Media Group Head and founding member at Zed Digital and has over 6 years of experience in product sales, concept sales, media planning & buying and brand activations in the digital space. In his previous roles he has worked with clients like HP, Reckitt Benckiser, Timesjobs, Uninor, Hotels.com, Hyundai for 360 degrees solution in digital marketing.

In the past few months, Ozone Media has focused on building its workforce, and has announced the appointment of Yuzdi Badhniwalla as VP- Sales and Marketing . Recently, Sanjay Anandaram, co-founder of JumpstartUp Venture Fund, agreed to a strategic advisory role at Ozone Media, to guide and mentor the company
