Packed with latest shows Star World Premiere HD, set to enter the living rooms

Keeping in mind the needs of the urban Indian viewer, Star India is set to launch its newest offering in English General Entertainment Channels (GEC) on the 24th September, 2013 - Star World Premiere HD.

The first-of-its-kind channel in India will allow its viewers to exclusively tune in to the latest season of their favorite shows. Star World Premier HD will air 26 new and returning shows from 4 of the biggest television studios in the world, creating a revolutionary television viewing experience in High Definition (HD). Fox Show', 'The Blacklist', ‘The Goldbergs' and 'Sleepy Hollow' and returning shows, 'Homeland' S3, ‘Castle’ S6, ‘Revenge’ S3, 'White Collar’ S5, 'Modern Family' S5, 'The Simpsons' S25, ‘Glee’ S5 and 'Two & A Half Men' S11, among others.

Tata Sky has announced the addition of Star World Premiere HD to its channel offerings.

Typically English Entertainment channels air shows about 6 to 11 months after the show has been aired in the US. To keep up with the pace of these shows, avid viewers download shows off the net and watch it on the laptop or PC. With Star World Premiere HD Channel, shows will be aired in India soon after the episode is aired in the US. Starting 24th September, Tata Sky will be the only DTH provider with an option to view the new English entertainment channel.
