Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil brings Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani together

Have you met your special someone by a series of coincidences? Ekta Kapoor takes you on a love ride to Austria to meet Raghav and Naina this Diwali. A brand new love story set in the backdrop of Europe, STAR Plus’ upcoming show ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ is waiting to make you fall in love with a stranger this season! 

Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, will be starring renowned actors Arjun Bijlani and Drashti Dhami in lead as Raghav and Naina. We will also see the veteran actor, Surekha Sikri as Indermati Mehra on small screen.

This will be the first show of Drashti Dhami on the channel. Excited to be on her way to Austria for the shoot, she said, “I love working with Balaji Telefilms. Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil is the story of a strong, independent woman, Naina. She is a firm believer in love. Naina is her mother’s support system and finds a friend in her at all times.”

Arjun Bijlani has been working with Balaji Telefilms on multiple shows and commented, “We have the best scripts coming in from Ekta Kapoor’s team. I will be seen as Raghav who is kind-at-heart and high-spirited. His sense of humour lightens up any situation for strangers and family alike”

Indermati, in turn, is the grandmother in the Mehra house and takes pride in single-handedly running the family business successfully in Austria. She finds her emotional side in her children and absolutely adores Raghav.

The show is a refreshing love story of two mature individuals, brought together by a series of happy coincidences in acts of selflessness. The narrative will leave you love-struck beyond imagination!
