Parixit Bhattacharya resigns from TBWA India

TBWA India has announced that Parixit Bhattacharya, managing partner – creative, will be leaving the agency in order to pursue other opportunities.
Bhattacharya has been serving the agency for nearly ten years. The agency has been experiencing many firsts under the creative leadership of Bhattacharya, leading to the creation of noteworthy platforms for brands across many categories with some modern advertising characters which are unforgettable.
Govind Pandey, CEO of TBWA India, said: “I love Parx and wish him the best in his future pursuits.”
Bhattacharya stated: “It has been a journey of purpose for me at TBWA, growing and facing every challenge with getting an opportunity to play a major role in forming the creative expertise of the agency. I got the good fortune to be working with some of the brilliant creative talents in the world, on certain rewarding ideas with some of the clients who are the sharpest. TBWA has been the school to me and in particular, all through these years, Govind has been a wonderful teacher to me. I wish him and the agency an illustrious future. Confirming Steve Job’s words, I would like to say “It is far greater fun to be a pirate than to be joining the navy.”
In a career which spans 22 years, he has been working at agencies such as JWT, Leo Burnett, Fallon, Lowe, Dubai and Singapore.
