Partha Ghosh resigns as VP & Head of Corp Comm at Samsung Electronics

Partha Ghosh has decided to step down from his position as Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications, at Samsung Electronics, a prominent manufacturer of computers and electronics.

He had been a part of the company since 2014, contributing his expertise for over eight years.

He posted a bid adieu note on his LinkedIn handle, he said, “When I stepped into the Samsung HO in Gurugram eight & half years ago, I knew I was getting into an exciting new world, but had no idea it was going to be this high octane. I grew with Samsung as Samsung grew with India. Many memories flashing through my mind now - many successes, my teams, my visits to Seoul, Global Galaxy Unpacked, India Unpacked, launch of the world's largest mobile factory in Noida with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as chief guest, launch of flagship CSR programs - many of which I captured in my Linkedin posts over these years. I also made many new friends along the way, something I will cherish all my life.”

Further he expressed his gratitude to his fellow colleagues, “Sincerest thanks to all my colleagues - past & present - at Samsung, my Comms & CSR teams, partners, Cheil, AvianWe, NSDC, IIT Delhi, News18, and all my friends in the media for helping me transition from a journalist at heart to a Comms & CSR pro in body & soul. Signing off now. See you next week... ciao”

Prior to joining Samsung, he had held senior editorial positions at esteemed news publications such as The Economics Times in Delhi and Ahmedabad. He also gained experience as a correspondent for media organizations like Business Standard, The Hindu Group, and The Telegraph during his early career.
