Paurush Sonkar to head Digital Marketing at Franklin Templeton MF

A source tells us that Paurush Sonkar would be taking charge as Head of Digital Marketing at Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund.

He is set to take charge from mid-October and will be heading all the digital marketing activities, his appointment will augment Franklin Templeton’s presence on digital platforms.

Sonkar has over 12 & ½ years of leadership experience in digital marketing within the BFSI Sector. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund, he was with Future Generali India Life Insurance, where he was Head – Online Sales and Digital Initiatives.

In the course of his career, Sonkar has worked with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Birla Sun Life MF, ICICI Lombard and others. He is also the Founder of India’s first digital platform exclusively for the BFSI sector – BFSI Digital Stallions Forum.

He is ranked amongst Top 50 Most Influential Digital Marketing professionals in India – Digital and Mobile Summit 2015.
