Paytm promotes Bhavesh Gupta to President and COO

Paytm has promoted Bhavesh Gupta to the position of President and COO. The payment app company revealed the appointment in its stock exchange filings. He joined Paytm as COO in 2020 and later was elevated to President and COO.

Gupta is a financial services professional with over 25 years of experience ranging from building grounds up company , technology & analytics platforms, payments, retail loans, digital lending, SME banking and retail banking.

Prior to joining Paytm, Gupta was working with Clix Capital as founding member & CEO.
He has worked with various financial institutions including IDFC bank and ICICI bank.
