PayUmoney makes ticket reservation for Heritage Monuments more convenient!

In a bid to make the tourism landscape of the country much more convenient, PayUmoney has collaborated with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and Canara Bank to facilitate online booking of Heritage Monuments.The move is aimed towards supporting the digitization of ASI’s service offerings under the Digital India campaign, allowing tourists have fingertip access to several prominent cultural heritage sites such as the TajMahal !

PayUmoney will act as the transactional partner under the agreement, extending the benefits of its robust payment infrastructure to approximately 119 ticketed monuments managed by the ASI. The company has developed the e-ticketing micro platform for both online and counter tickets for the initiative, and is also offering 1% saving on tickets booked through the platform to further sweeten the proposition.

Ticketed monuments managed by the ASI see an annual footfall of around 19 crore tourists, with TajMahal alone receiving 70-80 lakh visitors.Nine monuments, such as the TajMahal, Red Fort, Qutab Minar etc are already live on www.asi.payumoney.com, with others expected to be added gradually. As an exclusive partner in the initiative, PayUmoney is expecting to increase its business outlay as well as brand visibility with the latest association.
