PDM hoists the largest Flag for Eureka Forbes; The Flag to enter Limca Book of Records

Eureka Forbes is all set to enter the Limca Book of Records by setting a new Indian record for the largest Corporate Flag termed "The Flag of Happiness and Friendship'. The campaign was launched by Eureka Forbes on April 4, 2011 and the flag was formally hoisted on April 6, 2011 at the Marriot Hotel and Convention Centre, Pune, with an aim to spread awareness about their relationship with their employees and stakeholders.

The flag is set to feature in the Limca Book of Records 2012 edition under the title "The Biggest Corporate Flag Personalized'. Percept ICE, an SBU of PDM (a division of Percept Limited) managed the on-ground activity for Eureka Forbes.

The initiative aimed at engaging the employees of Eureka Forbes encouraged them to express the significance of the Eureka Forbes Tag Line "Your Friend For Life', by bringing together pieces of cloth that have been personalized by more than 450 employees who individually custom-made a piece of cloth of size 12" x 12" using colours, markers and glitter on the day of the conference. They wrote their names, messages, dreams and things about their experience with Eureka Forbes on these pieces. A professional tailor stitched all these pieces together to form a 50 x 10 feet flag centrally branded by Eureka Forbes.

Speaking on this remarkable campaign, Marzin Shroff, CEO and Sr. VP Marketing, Eureka Forbes said, "We call it the flag of friendship, as our tagline is "Your friend forever'; we wanted to come up with something that could connect us with our customers and staff. It was our duty to play a meaningful role and we are glad the effort has been acknowledged by the Limca book of records and we look forward to keep setting new benchmarks. The flag is dedicated to our customers."

Commenting on the success of the campaign Nazneen Karimi, Business Head, Percept ICE said, "The Flag of Happiness and Friendship' campaign is a remarkable corporate branding strategy as people are generally interested in where brands come from, who is behind them, and whether the company is an upstanding one. The Flag of happiness is an attempt to showcase Eureka Forbes' efforts in terms of teamwork and employee strength directed towards their consumers. Customized consumer campaigns help build traffic by increasing frequency, filling unused capacity and prospecting brand new customers."
