Pepsi says "Oh Yes Abhi!" to Unmukt Chand

Pepsi, the trend-setting brand, today announced the appointment of young cricketing sensation, Unmukt Chand as its brand ambassador. Unmukt, who is emerging as one of the most promising cricketers in the country, personifies Pepsi’s youthful, irreverent and “Oh Yes Abhi!” spirit. Having led the Under-19 Indian Cricket Team to a World Cup victory in 2012, he will now be seen in the upcoming Pepsi-IPL tournament. Not only this, he also features in its upcoming ad-film that brings alive the ultimate face-off between him and the captain of the Indian cricket team MS Dhoni along with Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina. The fun and entertaining campaign scheduled to go on-air on March 1, captures their impatient moments and promises to leave the audiences engaged like never before.

Chand’s appointment as a brand ambassador takes forward Pepsi’s legacy of roping in young and emerging talent with a potential to become youth icons. Just like its ahead-of-the-curve association with Chand, the brand had also signed Indian cricket team’s captain, M.S. Dhoni and Bollywood’s reigning star, Ranbir Kapoor before they became the achievers they are today.
