PepsiCo strengthens its Hydration portfolio with the national launch of 7UP® Revive™

PepsiCo India today announced that it has strengthened its hydration portfolio with the national launch of India’s first-ever Hydrotonic drink – 7UP® Revive™. Unveiled at a press conference with Vipul Prakash, Vice President, Beverage Category at PepsiCo India and health guru Mickey Mehta in Hyderabad, the product will now be available in 10 priority markets: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Delhi, NCR, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and West Bengal, along with Tamil Nadu and Kerala where the product was introduced last year with a rousing consumer response.

True to its name, 7UP® Revive™ is a ‘Hydrotonic Drink’ with vitamins and electrolytes that help consumers rehydrate and refresh after being out and about or active. 7UP® Revive™  contains Vitamins B3, B6 and B12, which are known to play an essential role in energy metabolism, and electrolytes like Sodium and Potassium needed to replenish some mineral salts that the body loses when sweating.

Available in a 500ml PET and 200ml RGB pack, 7UP® Revive™ is one of the biggest innovations which highlights the company’s focus on building its hydration portfolio. 7UP® Revive™ is an innovation under the 7UP® portfolio which includes products like 7UP® Nimbooz and 7UP® Nimbooz Masala Soda.

This great tasting drink and its strong proposition of ‘Body Ka Top-Up’ has resonated very well with consumers. The introduction of 7UP® Revive™ in the new states will be accompanied with a new thematic TVC which talks about the product proposition. The launch will be supported by strong on-air and outdoor campaigns along with extensive consumer sampling.
