Percept Talent announces Vijender Singh's brand endorsement mega deal with Vencobb

The Indian Boxing Federation (IBF) and Percept jointly honored the legendary Boxing Champions of the 16th Asian Games at a special felicitation ceremony held in Delhi on Tuesday, November 30, 2010.

At the recently concluded XVI Asiad Games held in China, star boxers Vijender Singh and Vikas Krishnan won Gold medals. Dinesh Kumar, V. Santosh Kumar and Manpreet Singh walked away with Silver medals, while Suranjoy Singh and Paramjeet Samota won Bronze Medals for the country.

Attending the ceremony were legendary medal winning boxers Vijender Singh, Vikas Krishnan, V. Santosh Kumar, Dinesh Kumar, Manpreet Singh, Suranjoy Singh, Paramjeet Samota, Mary Kom and Kavita Goyat. Present on dais to felicitate these celebrated boxers were Mr. Abhey Singh Chautala, President, IBF; Colonel P.K. Muralidharan Raja, Secretary General, IBF; and Mr. Shailendra Singh, Joint Managing Director, Percept Limited.

Percept Talent also announced a mega brand endorsement deal between ace boxer Vijender Singh and the All India Poultry Development & Services (AIPD&S) for Vencobb. Vencobb is the registered trade mark and the brand name of broiler chicken, and is produced and marketed by the Venco Research & Breeding Farm Ltd. The company has invested millions of rupees every year into genetic research and development of its vast broiler breeding stock.

Vencobb has signed an exclusive deal with Percept Talent to get Vijender Singh on board to endorse and promote the Vencobb brand range. Vijender Singh will allocate exclusive time to participate in Vencobb's chicken promotional campaign and be the face for Vencobb's mass print media promotional campaign, including ads, pamphlets, leaflets, and recipe booklets. In addition to this, Vijender Singh will also interact with consumers at retail touch points and egg & chicken "melas' across the country to communicate and endorse the health benefits and nutritional value associated with chicken.
