&pictures to air Blockbuster sci-fi animated film ‘Beowulf’

Starring Oscar winners Anthony Hopkins and Angeline Jolie, along with Ray Winstone, Robin Wright Penn and John Malkovich, &pictures, Naye India Ka Blockbuster Movie Channel, will air Beowulf on Friday, 9^th February 2018 at 8PM.

Based on the epic English poem, Beowulf is a fierce warrior who has been appointed by Danish King to protect the kingdom from a hideous monster named Grendel. But, that is only the beginning of the real battle. Beowulf has two more battles ahead of him – one with Grendel’s shape-shifting mother and one with a dragon. Featuring stunning visuals, and a talented cast, Beowulf has in spades what more faithful book adaptations forget to bring: pure cinematic entertainment.

Set against the coming of Christianity, this is the story of the last hero: in 507, a monstrous troll wreaks havoc in the mead hall of the Danish king, Hrothgar (Anthony Hopkins). He offers rewards for the death of Grendel (Crispin Glover), so Beowulf, a great warrior, arrives with his brave soldiers. Beowulf sets aside his armour and awaits the monster; a fierce battle ensues where he manages to slay Grendel. This leads him to Grendel’s fearsome mother who lures him. Beowulf returns to Herot, the castle, and becomes king. Years, later, Beowulf is forced to face his own weakness as he is to battle another demon.
