PIX appoints Amogh Dusad as its head of programming

English movie channel from Multi Screen Media, appoints Amogh Dusad as its head of programming department. Dusad will be responsible for all aspects of programming strategy, planning and scheduling. He will also assist the acquisitions; liaise with other departments including ad sales, distribution and marketing.

Prior to this Dusad was the Director of Strategic Planning and Research for Imagine TV. Being the driving force in the movie acquisition strategy for Imagine he was also the part of the core team for Branded Content Initiatives by Imagine. At Imagine he has established a Communication Awareness Track System and conceptualized the unique Socio-Cultural-Region based Communication frame work. Dusad started his career as an Associate Director in TAM Media Research Pvt Ltd and then moved on to be the Senior Manager of Business Strategy in Sahara One Media.

Dusad's key strengths are his analytical skills, and he is strongly inclined to use data and research. He has an extremely competitive approach to programming and strategy. Dusad is extremely good with numbers owing to his experience in TAM.

Dusad comes with a post graduation in field of communication from Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA). His specialization being Media Planning and Media Research.
