PIX initiates interactive mega premiere to promote 'Men in Black 3'

Sony PIX has always been amongst the front runners when it comes to promoting and marketing their brand, be it their campaigns or movie premiere promotions. This time around, Sony PIX is carrying out a 360 degree marketing campaign to promote the premiere of the sci-fi film Men in Black 3, airing on the channel on 10th March 2013 at 1 PM & 9 PM.

With promotions across mediums such as print, online, OOH and television, PIX has come up with a very innovative and interactive way to interact with its viewers. Sony PIX will engage viewers through the ‘First Interactive Mega Premiere’ in the social media space. The Sony PIX twitter handle (@SonyPix) will appear during important scenes in the film to engage with viewers through LIVE conversations.

This is not all! Sony PIX has also come up with a very innovative social media campaign ‘Anti Alien Day’ to be celebrated on March 10, 2013 as a build-up to the television premiere of the film. To thrill and engage Hollywood buffs across the country, PIX has created dialogue on its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SonyPIX) with different alien characters that represent various social evils in our society. These aliens have been christened with names like ‘Red Spitterus’ for those who choose to paint the town red with their spitter-splatter amongst other identified aliens that include ‘Screamers Extremus’, ‘Drinker Stinker’, ‘Go Now-here-us’ and many more.
