PIX brings to your television screens a solid action thriller directed by Antonie Fuqua. Shooter starring Mark Wahlberg is the fight of a decent man with the power hungry political leaders giving the viewers a real hero to root for. With nail biting action sequences, Shooter is this month’s Hand PIX Movie of the Month on November 08, 2012 at 9pm on PIX.

Plot

Bob Lee Swagger, is a former Army sniper who leaves the military and disappears without a trace after a mission ends up into a tragedy. After he is reluctantly pressed back into service by Colonel Isaac Johnson to help the government stop an assassin to take the President of the United States down, Swagger is double-crossed again. With two bullets in him and the subject of a nationwide manhunt, Swagger begins his revenge, which will take down the most powerful people in country. Danny Glover, Rhona Mitra, and Ned Beatty co-star in this conspiracy-driven action thriller that asks what it truly means to serve one's country.

Mark Wahlberg (Bob Lee Swagger): Is an ex military loner who felt betrayed by his country. Despite being left for dead he still feels obligated to help stop an attack after being approached by the government. A soldier through and through, he agrees to help even though he does not like the president.

Danny Glover (Colonel Issac Johnson): A corrupt, cool headed, sadistic military leader who thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he pleases.

Michael Pena (Nick Memphis): Plays FBI Agent Nick Memphis who was the first to find Swagger after the assassination attempt and he is held accountable for his escape.

Sara Fenn (Kate Mara): The love interest in the film, she is Swaggers partners' widow. After he is injured, she is the only one who continues to help him and Nick and soon falls for Bob.
