Pixel Party successfully recreates AIBs' Brand Packaging

The AIBs - the International Media Excellence Awards run by the Association of International Broadcasting (AIB), has for 10 years been celebrating and rewarding the best in factual TV, radio and online broadcasting programmes and talent, attracting entries from all across the world. It has become the staple event in the diaries of broadcasters globally.

In 2014, the AIBs went through a complete Brand makeover. Pixel Party – a motion design studio from Delhi led by Kalpit Dwivedi & Sumit Grover was behind the design aspect of AIBs’ makeover. This involved recreating the brand’s packaging in its entirety with the help of high quality, commercial CG imaging, animation and VFX.

Pixel Party specializes in all things Visual and has been working with some of the largest brands in India and abroad.  Of late, they have ventured into the broadcast industry in a big way with a repertoire of assignments. They have designed the channel/programme packaging for Star Sports, CNBC Awaaz, Sony Pix, Discovery Communications, Homeshop 18 and NewsX to name a few. Their client base also includes an impressive list of global brands such as Nestle, Honda, Hyundai, Samsung, HCL and Microsoft.

In 2011, Kalpit Dwivedi, Co-Founder & MD, Pixel Party, along with design mavericks Kumar Saurabh & Sumit Grover decided to venture out on their own after years of association with large networks such as NDTV and Network18. While making this announcement, Kalpit said, “We believe that our partnership with AIB will help us forge a strong presence in the Indian & International Broadcast industry and expand in this highly competitive environment.”

“Pixel Party successfully carried out the rebranding of AIB. Their work received very positive feedback at the award function that was attended by senior media executives, producers, editors, and journalists from around the world,” said Simon Spanswick, Chief Executive, AIB.

“We have put together a top notch crew from amongst the most talented people in the industry. Our mission is to help our clients create compelling content by providing quality CG services. The team is extremely proud about how well the AIBs project went,” added Sumit Grover, Director, Pixel Party.

“The AIBs showcases the best in creativity from across 30 countries globally. Working on this project was not just a great learning experience for the team but also served as a window of opportunity for them to showcase their talent on a global stage,” commented Vikas Khanchandani, Director, Pixel Party. As a result of their work undertaken for the AIB, Pixel Party has secured a major on-air graphics contract with a major multinational news broadcaster from Africa.
