PlanetSpark’s Mother’s Day campaign stimulates “Expression of Love”

EdTech platform PlanetSpark has launched its Mother’s Day campaign #SparkHerSmile, with an aim to stimulate “Expression of Love” between Children and Mothers. In this campaign, the global EdTech has prompted children across the world to participate in a challenge titled “Bring your Mom to the Camera”. The challenge aims to put both children and mothers in front of the camera while children candidly express their love towards their mother.

The campaign will be live from 2nd May to 8th May, i.e, Mother’s Day. To participate in the challenge, children are required to upload an Instagram Reel, wherein they will tell their mother why they love her, face-to-face. Contrary to the pop culture, wherein, people extend their wishes/greetings by posting pictures/videos online, PlanetSpark’s Mother’s Day campaign intends to shed light on the lost culture of candid emotional expression. Additionally, keeping intact its emphasis on “Communication Skills”, the EdTech’s campaign is designed to foster the effective communication of emotions, of which, love is the hardest to express.

In addition to expressing their love for their mother, children would also be showcasing their knowledge about her likes and dislikes, in the Reel. To every detail shared by a child, the mother will react either with a “Thumbs-up” or “Thumbs-down”, for correct and incorrect descriptions, respectively. Children would need to tag PlanetSpark in their Instagram Reels, to stand a chance to be featured on PlanetSpark’s Instagram page.

PlanetSpark’s #SparkHerSmile campaign will also rope in the Company’s employees over the LinkedIn network. The employees will describe 3 things that they have learnt from their mother that make them a better human being, while tagging PlanetSpark. They will further encourage others to participate in the challenge by nominating 5 employees from the Company. The EdTech will give shout-outs to the most interesting entries, across its Social Media handles.
