PMO endorses #BharatKiLaxmi on the auspicious occasion of Diwali

“Diwali is a festival of joy to traditionally welcome Laxmi, the Goddess of Fortune and Prosperity. However this time around, BOI came up with an innovative idea to welcome Goddess Laxmi. India’s daughters bring honour to their family, friends and country through their various laurels, while some teach the underprivileged or bringing awareness about cleanliness and health or serving society as engineers and doctors or helping in the delivery of justice by becoming lawyers. The daughters of India embody Goddess Laxmi perfectly.
The video “Bharat Ki Laxmi” showcases 3 such strong women - Deepika Padukone, PV Sindhu and Sindhu Tai - who epitomize India’s Nari Shakti. We truly believe that when women are empowered, the society on a whole is empowered & it captures and celebrates the extraordinary achievements of women in the country. The idea of #BharatKiLaxmi has been endorsed by Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi, Deepika Padukone, PV Sindhu, and many more dignitaries such as Piyush Goyal and Diya Kumari.
