POKKT Bags ‘Best Mobile Marketing Award’ at CMO Asia Awards 2016

POKKT, Asia’s leading rewarded video ad network, won the ‘Best Mobile Marketing Award’ at CMO Asia Awards 2016 for their disruptive and innovative campaign for the R-Series bike for Thai Yamaha Motors. CMO Asia Awards 2016, that held in Singapore on 4th-5th August ’16, saw participation from across the continent, and POKKT is one of the select few Indian ad-tech platforms to have received international recognition and won a CMO Asia award. Co-founded by Rohit Sharma, Manish Tewari and Vaibhav Odhekar in 2012; POKKT enables over 500 global and local game publishers and developers to monetize their apps through branded video ads by integrating their Software Development Kits (SDKs) and has a reach of over 100 million unique users in the region.

With a brief to build product awareness and increase sales for R Series Bike, POKKT reached out to the target audience, consisting males between the 25-35 years age group, through a unique campaign. As part of the campaign, POKKT developed a mobile app network that showcased banner video ads integrated in gaming apps that the target audience were familiar with starting 4th June to 16th June ‘16. The network later lead them to a dealer forum nearby using maps to direct the users to nearest store to experience the product. Mobiles are the most personal device used by the target group and by coupling it with an innovative strategy saw a huge success with the campaign boasting of 90% VTR (completion ratio) and 4.50% CTR (click through rate) in addition to completion of 100% views.
