TAG launched its Certified Against Fraud Program in 2016 to combat invalid traffic in the digital advertising supply chain. By encouraging legitimate participants in the industry to meet these standards, the TAG CAF Program has been widely acknowledged as an effective tool in reducing fraudulent invalid traffic in the digital advertising supply chain.

Since its inception, POKKT has emphasised on adhering to the highest standards of quality for mobile and digital advertising, and has provided digital marketing solutions to brands across industries such as FMCG, automobile, and technology. POKKT has also consistently invested in developing technology across verticals like targeting, fraud, brand safety, along with other programmatic tools. It leverages its proprietary data, combined with its extensive technological expertise, to ensure advertisers receive the highest possible returns on their ad spends.

Rachel Nyswander Thomas, Chief Operating Officer for TAG, said “We’re pleased to recognize POKKT with the TAG Certified Against Fraud Seal for the company’s efforts to fight ad fraud and strengthen the digital advertising supply chain. The assertive steps taken by POKKT and the mechanisms adopted by the company to combat inauthentic content and fraudulent traffic are commendable, and we look forward to continuing to work with POKKT TO raise the anti-fraud standards in the industry.” The 2018 TAG Fraud Benchmarking Study, conducted by The 614 Group, found that the use of TAG Certified distribution channels for digital advertising cut the IVT rate to 1.68% across more than 75 billion display, video, and in-app impressions; this is a reduction of more than 84% in the level of fraud, compared to the broader industry average. The CAF seal has now become the industry standard in combatting fraudulent non-human traffic in the digital advertising supply chain and ensuring that advertisers reach genuine and real users, thus creating a transparent ecosystem for both publishers and advertisers.
