Power of women in today’s age of digital marketing

Authored by Anshuk K Aggarwal, Co-Founder, AdYogi.

It is no secret that the corporate world is a warzone for women, where they combat the lack of recognition, representation, access to senior roles, and the gender pay gap on a daily basis. But proudly, not at AdYogi. AdYogi is a place for growth and contentment, where everyone makes a conscious effort in motivating the female (and all genders) marketers to push boundaries, break stereotypes, and go get it!

The women of Adyogi

At Adyogi, more than 50% of our workforce is female and they take over – rightly so – just as many leadership positions as men. In fact, 45% of our top-spending clients (Rs 50-100 crore annual sales) are handled by female digital marketers. So, the subject ‘women excelling in the digital marketing space’ is no new news to us – we have witnessed it first hand. Along with Digital Marketing, you’ll find the women of AdYogi crushing it in roles like CXO, Business and Growth, Accounts Leaders, Marketing Strategists, Product Development, and many others.

“At Adyogi, the leadership opportunities and promotions are not biased at all! We all have equal opportunities in all aspects. And what’s remarkable is, this ‘equality’ culture has been quite prominent from the start. So, if there is no place for differences, that’s the better place we are all looking for,” says Priya Kandasamy, Marketing Strategist, Adyogi.

Growth opportunities for women in Adyogi

Marketing as an industry requires you to be on the tip of your toes, patient, and creative 24x7. And guess who has a natural flair for all? Women!

We’ve had women on the front row of Adyogi’s digital marketing space for as long as the space has existed. In fact, some of our first-ever female employees are still a part of the team after 6 years. So, one can imagine their love for Adyogi both as a company and a culture.

“This is going to sound very clichéd, but women can do anything and everything if given the opportunity. Four years ago, I joined Adyogi as a non-tech person in the tech industry. Fast forward to today, I am a primary contributor to our product’s development – which currently serves 350+ eCommerce brands globally,” says Manasvi Neyol, Digital Marketing Manager, Adyogi.

Women taking initiatives in Adyogi

Over the last couple of years, we have seen the women of Adyogi rise up the ranks and become influential thought leaders and mentors. You will find them everywhere! Be it managing our biggest clients, running internal academies, taking charge of Focus Learning Groups, heading webinars with partners like Facebook and Google, working on our product development, the list just goes on!

Moreover, talking about recognised leadership in the industry, many of our brands like Bunaai, Metro Mochi, Rareism (the horse of rare), Cureveda, Prerto, Once Upon A Trunk, are founded and run by women entrepreneurs. And at least 30% of our clients have female marketing POCs coordinating with our experts – we are very proud of that.
