Prabhat Khabar launches its Panchayat in Bihar!

After gaining immense success in Jharkhand for it’s newly launched fortnightly tabloid "Panchayatnama" targeted towards the rural areas of Jharkhand and its Panchayat related issues, Prabhat Khabar has now launched it in Bihar on 11 July 2012. This initiative kick started with an inauguration function in Patna, preceded by Mr. Nitish Kumar, chief minister of Bihar.

 

"Panchayatnama" will be offered to the people of Bihar with 40 pages tabloid and will come with a price tag of Rs10. It will be circulated in all 38 districts (8842 panchayat) of Bihar with approximately 25000 copies on day one.

 

Since the involvement remains tact with rural areas it will allow the growing media industry to connect with the vast rural population of Bihar. And the rural people get an opportunity to voice their problems and developmental aspirations.
