Prateek Kuhaad unveils India leg of ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ World Tour

As critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad announces the India leg of his highly anticipated ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ World Tour, producer of the India tour – BookMyShow – India’s leading entertainment destination launches a heart-warming campaign ‘Tune Kaha, Maine Sun Liya’, a line taken from one of his popular songs to announce the arrival of the tour.

The campaign rolled out on social media is a 2-part video series that begins with a young woman in her everyday work environment of a meeting full of chaos, stress and confusion. Walking out to take a much-needed break with a cup of coffee, plugging in her earphones to listen to some heart-warming music, the young fan is instantly transported to a fantasy world brought alive by her favourite music artist, Prateek Kuhad. As Prateek Kuhad’s soothing song ‘Co2’ from his latest album The Way That Lovers Do sets the vibe, she pens down a heartfelt letter to the heartthrob of Indian pop music narrating the impact his music has had on her and what it means to her. The video ends with the fan dropping the letter in a red BookMyShow envelope in a letterbox with a lot of expectation in her eyes for Prateek to write back.

The second part of the campaign video and the campaign reveal as rolled out by Prateek Kuhad himself on his social media platform shows the artist enjoying a cup of coffee at his home in India, after returning from the first leg of his World Tour, while sorting through some of the mail on his coffee table. The red BookMyShow envelope catches his eye and as he reads the fan letter, it brings a warm smile to his face even as he looks into the camera to reveal that he has heard the fan’s desire and is on his way to India for the new tour. This beautifully captured moment of love shared between an ardent fan and her favourite artist is what is truly touching, completely executed by BookMyShow’s in-house team.

Part 1: From the fan:

Contents of the letter:

Dear Prateek,

On some days, a 100 words could be spoken by a loved one and still leave me gasping to be understood a little better. But then, that very moment, my heart fondly remembers the time it picked up your words and the way you weave magic with them. Teaching me that there’s no wrong or right way to love.

That love means leaning into the mess, only pausing for picking up the pieces that mend your heart and make it feel safe.

So here’s me saying thank you to you, for making me feel emotions I didn’t know existed. I’m wearing these emotions like a scent.

And as they linger on, I jump with joy on the thought of seeing you sometime soon!

Hoping to see you in India!
