Prega News intensifies its penetration in West Bengal

Prega News, the pregnancy detection kit from the house of Mankind Pharma, organized an event Prega News Dashobhuja in West Bengal for the grand celebration of Durga Puja with much gaiety and enthusiasm.

Considering that this year the puja celebration was in full swing, with people excitedly thronging the pandals to enjoy the festival after two long years of the pandemic, Prega News with the help of the event aimed to further elevate the zestful fervor of people. The event was organized from 28th September to 1st October across 9 districts of West Bengal viz. Kolkata, Howrah, Chandannagar, Burdhwan, Durgapur, Asansol, Bahrampur, Malda and Siliguri. A total of top 4 pandals were selected from each district which made a total of 36 pandals to qualify for the finals. 

Following this, a Grand Finale was organized on 7Th October, 2022 at Hotel JW Marriott, Kolkata to select the winner from the 36 qualifiers. Renowned personalities from the entertainment industry, Sauraseni Maitra, Mimi Chakraborty, and Fahrukh Ali Omar took over the role of the jury. The event concluded with the announcement of four runners-up and 1 winner who was awarded a trophy, cash prize, and a goodie bag.

The focus of the event was to create as much visibility and awareness amongst the masses about Prega News for exercising deeper penetration in the West Bengal market. To maintain the momentum and better brand recall value, Prega News will be conducting the event every year during Durga Puja for enhanced engagement with the audience. It will be working to expand its reach every year. This year starting with pandals allowing 360 entries, the brand aspires to take the number to 50 pandals with entries of more than 500 next year and is determined to increase the number each year.

For better engagement, apart from contest, cultural events, live performances, and many exciting activities were also conducted to make the festival celebration even more memorable. There was a special performance by Lopamudra Raut.
