Prometric Country Manager Soumitra Roy to Lead ATP’s India Regional Division (I-ATP)

Prometric, a global leader in test development and delivery, is pleased to announce the appointment of Soumitra Roy, Country Manager, Prometric Testing Private Ltd., to the ATP Board of Directors.  Soumitra will serve as the Director representing the India Regional Division and play an integral role in the second annual I-ATP conference, The Future of Educational Assessment in India:  Developing an Ecosystem of Quality Examination.

Soumitra Roy, who joined Prometric in 2004, brings with him more than 30 years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the IT services industry. Soumitra began his career in 1983 with HCL Hewlett Packard. He has vast experience in the field of systems integration, E-business and software solutions with a focus on business operations and client management.  His current position as Country Manager-India is of strategic importance to the growth of Prometric in one of the world’s fastest growing markets.
