PVR-Inox merger gets NCLT nod

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has given its approval to the proposed merger between PVR Ltd and Inox Leisure Ltd. In its disclosure made to the bourses, PVR stated, “We would like to inform you that Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench has allowed the Proposed Scheme today, i.e., 12th January 2023.”

The PVR-Inox merged entity will become the largest film exhibition company in India, comprising over 1,500 screens across 100+ cities.
