Raashee to be released on DTH!

It's just have been two weeks that Ashutosh Gowariker's movie What's Your Raashee is released. And now the film will be released on Direct-to-home service.

As the film hasn't got good reviews and people have also refused to give it a shot. The filmmaker is admant to show his movie to the audience in the luxury of their homes through DTH. The deal is locked with Tata Sky, Airtel, Dish and Big for a Direct-to-Home (DTH) release this Friday. The reports suggest that the screening of What's your Raashee was followed by the film Kaminey's stupendous success, which recorded one Lakh of pay-per-view audience.

With approximately 12 million DTH homes across four players, there is huge segment of audience, which can't be tapped via theatrical releases.

With big banners stepping in, DTH platform gives the wild card entry to the box-office duds.
