Rahul Welde ends 31-year stint with Unilever

Rahul Welde, Executive Vice-President, Digital Transformation & Digital Business, Unilever, has decided to move on from the FMCG giant after 31 years with the organisation.

Welde made this announcement on social media. “Time to move on. 31 years since I started at Unilever,” he tweeted.

While his next destination is not known, Welde mentioned about “embarking on a new chapter” and enjoying the “roller-coaster that the new ride will be”.

Welde has been with Unilever since 1991. Previously, he was Unilever’s Regional VP Media for Asia, Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Russia. For the last six years, he was based in the UK after being made Global VP - Digital Transformation. He was later elevated to EVP - Digital Transformation and Digital Business.
