Rajan Anandan takes over as IAMAI Chairman!

Rajan Anandan, Managing Director, Google India, is the new Chairman of Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). Mr Anandan would be taking over from Mr. Hitesh Oberoi, Managing Director and CEO, InfoEdge.

Speaking about his new role, Rajan Anandan said, “I am excited to take over this responsibility at a time, when the industry is going through an exciting transition.  The digital industry has reached an inflection point and is growing steadily. IAMAI, which has been working persistently towards the growth of the medium, is also growing. We plan to engage and interact more closely with the government to ensure that the online industry registers a balanced growth in the years to come and the internet user base widens.”

Kirthiga Reddy, Director of Online Operations and Head of Office, India at Facebook, is the new Vice-Chairman, who will take over her new role from Dhruv Shringi, Co-Founder & CEO, Yatra.
