RAM This Week | Radio City stays on top in spite of losing market share

And we are back with the RAM data and this time for the first week of 2015(December 28, 2014 – January 3, 2015). As seen in Week 52 (December 21-27), Radio City was still leading in Mumbai and Bangalore, while Fever FM and Radio Mirchi were leading in Delhi and Kolkata respectively. There weren't major changes except some of the channels losing mmarket shares in some cities. Let’s take a look at RAM in the metros cities.

Mumbai

Radio City 91.1 FM regains the top spot despite losing 0.5 per cent share over the previous week’s 19 per cent. Subsequent stations were Radio Mirchi (14.5 per cent), Fever FM (13.5 per cent), Red FM (11.9 per cent) which saw their share rise, while Radio One (3.1 per cent) and Oye FM (2.7 per cent) saw a drop in market share.

Delhi

In the Capital city, Fever FM tops with 19.2 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi with a market share which fell by 3 per cent to 13.1 per cent in Week 1. This is followed by Radio City with 12.4 per cent market share. 

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi bags the number one spot with a share of 19.8 per cent followed by Oye FM with 11.1 per cent market share. On number three is Radio One with 10.3 per cent market share. 

 

Bangalore

As last week, Radio City topped the list in this city as well with a share of 23.7 per cent being the highest market share among all cities. This was followed by Radio Mirchi with a 18.4 per cent market share. Others were Fever FM, Radio One and Red FM who saw a drop in their shares from the previous week.
