Ramaiya Vastavaiya kickstarts the 'Har Din Diwali' Film Festival from 1 to 15 November

Zee Cinema, the world’s largest movie theatre for Hindi movies, kickstarts the festive month of November with the ‘Har Din Diwali’ Film Festival. This Diwali from Sunday, 1st November to Sunday, 15th November 15th, 2015 the channel will showcase blockbuster movies every day. The two-week Diwali festival will air superhit Bollywood films like Ramaiya Vastavaiya, Taare Zameeen Par, Entertainment and Main Tera Hero amongst others every night at 8 PM with exception of the film that will be seen on Sunday air at 9 PM.

The first film on 1st November at 9 PM is the musical love story, Ramaiya Vastavaiya. It is a remake of Prabhu Deva's directorial debut Telugu blockbuster, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. The movie marks the confident debut performance of Girish Kumar, gorgeous Shruti Hassan, versatile actors like Randhir Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna and the brawny Sonu Sood. It is also popular amongst the audiences for its foot-tapping music score.
The romantic comedy revolves around a young boy, Ram (Girish Kumar), born to billionaire parents and brought up in Australia. While attending a family wedding in India, Ram meets Sona (Shruti Hassan), a simple, traditional girl from Punjab. A love-hate relationship begins between them resulting in both wanting to marry each other. The couple faces a series of obstacles to live together happily with each other. Ram needs to win over Sona’s over protective brother, Raghuveer (Sonu Sood) while Ram’s parents need to accept Sona.
