Ramkumar Uppara joins Ujjivan Small Finance Bank

Ramkumar is a communications specialist with over 18 years of diverse experience in public relations, media relations, crisis communications, brand awareness, brand building and corporate communications.

At Ujjivan SFB, his role encompasses a broad spectrum of activities, covering senior stakeholder management, external and internal corporate communications, content strategy, media relations, digital media & crises communications, among others.

Ramkumar previously held the position of Associate Partner with Ketchum Sampark PR, co-heading BFSI Practise and Head of Pharma and Healthcare Practise devising external and financial communications strategies for Banks, NBFCs, Mutual Fund, Life Insurance, MFIs' etc.

Before Ketchum Sampark, He looked after external, plant and crisis communications at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India. He has also worked with leading financial PR Agencies like Concept Public Relations and Adfactors Group Companies.
