Ranbir Kapoor to debut on IIFA 2012 stage!

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) revealed that the youngest member of Hindi Cinema’s first family, Ranbir Kapoor will perform on stage for the first time at the Jaypee Group IIFA Awards this month. Joining the elite list of performers including IIFA choreographer, Prabhu Deva, Shahid Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and Sonakshi Sinha will be the gorgeous, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. As we draw closer to the 13th Jaypee Group IIFA Awards, the promising line-up of young talent is sure to leave audiences mesmerized, as Bollywood takes centre-stage from June 7th-9th in the Lion City of Singapore.

 

Ranbir is known for his performances in Rockstar, Anjana Anjani, Saawariya, Bachana Ae Haseeno etc… He will bring the Kapoor magic to the IIFA stage for all their fans in Singapore and a television audience of over 800 million worldwide on the 9th of June at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. 

 

Ranbir Kapoor said, “This is the first time I’m performing at IIFA, this marks a special significance for me. I know that the expectations are huge and it is quite a challenge to matchPrabhu Deva’s moves but I’m going to work hard and I’m sure we are going to have a lot of fun as well.”

Teri Meri Kahaani actors, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor along with Director, Kunal Kohli will also promote their film at the Videocon IIFA Weekend, with both stars headlining IIFA Rocks! followed by solo performances on the Jaypee IIFA Awards stage. Spanning three eras from 1910, 1960 and 2012, world media will get a sneak preview of Teri Meri Kahaani at the Weekend. Shahid Kapoor will also play co-host at the Awards this year, with director-actor, Farhan Akthar.
