Rashami Desai, Karan Wahi and Mouni Roy grace Zee TV's Primetime this New Year's Eve

Zee TV's primetime dramas, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani & Tashn-E-Ishq are welcoming the year 2016 with a star-studded evening showcasing performances by some of the most popular faces of Indian television! The beautiful Rashami Desai and heartthrob Karan Wahi will be seen performing in Ranaji's Rajmahal whereas the sultry Mouni Roy will be a part of Tashn-E-Ishq's Bollywood-themed new year bash! In fact, all the shows across Zee TV's primetime will feature, 'Nayi Khushi, Nayi Chunauti' - new rays of hope amidst new challenges for all its protagonists.

In Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Rashami and Karan are summoned for the 'Shahi Naya Saal in the Rajmahal by Ranaji (played by Siddhant Karnick). Rashami's courtesan act to the song Chilman Uthegi Nahi will remind viewers of Sushmita Sen's original performance from the film Kisna while Karan Wahi will groove to 'Malang' from Dhoom 3. Rashami said, "I loved performing on 'Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani' as the set is truly beautiful. The outfit that was created for the performance was a replica of Sushmita Sen's from the song 'Chilman' and the work and the detailing was intricate and gorgeous. It's a pleasure to perform a classical dance on a television show and I hope the viewers love it." The track of 'Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani' will showcase the return of veteran actor Surekha Sikri as Badi Rani Ma. Wheeled in on a stretcher, is Badi Rani Maa truly on her deathbed? Or is this yet another ploy of her's to brew trouble in Gayatri's (played by Drashti Dhami) life? And what is Sartaj's (played by Vineet Sharma)  secret and why is the Rajmata (played by Anita Raaj) giving in to his demands and meeting him on the sly?  Many answers will emerge this New Year's Eve!
On the other hand, Mouni Roy is the star guest at the New Year celebration of Tashn-E-Ishq where Yuvraj (Played by Zain Imam) is plotting the murder of Kunj (Played by Siddhant Gupta). The temptress will be seen performing to 'Aaj Ki Raat' from Don in a very sexy attire. Will Twinkle (played by Jasmine Bhasin) be able to protect Kunj and foil Yuvraj's plans in the nick of time?
