Rashmika Mandanna plans a trip with her “Reel Family” in Agoda's

Fresh off the success of her Bollywood debut, Goodbye, popular South actor Rashmika Mandanna stars in Agoda’s first-ever digital ad campaign in India. Featuring a dramatic reenactment of classic Bollywood scenes, the ad is a quirky nod to the struggles Indians face while planning a holiday, especially one with family. It lies at the heart of quintessential desi families, weaving in the insistence of each member to get one’s own way.

Reflecting real life’s obsession with capturing everything on camera, the ad opens with Rashmika in a home setting surrounded by her “reel” family, trying hard to book a vacation that satisfies everyone’s needs. Her family is seen debating over different aspects of the vacation and their personal preferences - affordability, activities, spacious rooms, free breakfast among others. Over the top and quirky personalities that mimic relatable characters Indians have grown up watching - a mother with a thali in her hand, brothers dressed like bickering warriors, and a father balancing the books, are saved with the help of Rashmika and the hero - Agoda! The Agoda app holds all the solutions to keep everyone happy.

In real life, Rashmika wishes her parents would start to travel more and explore new places with her beyond their hometown of Coorg.
