Red FM set out to achieve a new record

Red FM is attempting to set a new record in the Limca Book of Records, in collaboration with Nokia. Red FM has set out to achieve a new record of having the maximum number of LIVE callers on a single day simultaneously airing on Red FM's network of 47 stations of its 50 station network across India.

Commenting on this unique development, B. Surendar, Senior VP & National Sales Head, Red FM, said "Our station has been the epicenter of several innovative campaigns and this collaboration with Nokia is a very natural fit. We share the same brand attributes as that of Nokia which is unique innovations and connecting with people."

Pioneering the growth of cellular technology, Nokia celebrates 15 years of its presence in India on 30th of July. Red FM, the station for expression for the common man, invited listeners to exchange their favorite Nokia Moment with Red FM RJ's on this occasion. To further emphasize Nokia's contribution in connecting people across India, RJs from various cities called each other on-air to share their personal Nokia moments, which OB jocks went across various locations across the cities getting people to share their Nokia stories.

A radio blog was also created wherein listeners could post their good wishes for Nokia. Red FM's ever popular sign off ' Bajaate Raho was also changed for one day to Nokia's new tag line Connecting People. Lucky winners who were part of the largest Nokia Day celebrations won Nokia merchandize.
