RELIANCE MALL in Santacruz, Mumbai celebrates National Tourism Day

India is a diverse Nation and it offers several forms of tourism opportunities including cultural, nature, heritage, educational, sports, rural, eco-tourism, etc. This diversity of India makes it a prime attraction for tourists.

National Tourism Day 2023, was celebrated on 25th January at Reliance Mall Santacruz to highlight the importance of tourism for the economy of the country. Reliance Mall patrons celebrated National Tourism Day, wherein people were made aware of its importance, and the objective behind the celebration. 

Reliance Mall, known for celebrating numerous festivals and occasions continued with its tradition of giving its customers happy experiences.  On National Tourism Day which is marked with a motive to appreciate our country’s beauty and spread awareness of the importance of tourism and its impact on the Indian economy, Reliance Mall Santacruz, Mumbai gave their customers an immersive virtual reality experience. Customers could visit their favorite domestic destination from Reliance Mall, Santacruz, Mumbai. This pilot project was conducted at Reliance Mall in Surat, Vadodara and Salem as well.

Famous monuments like Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Amer Fort and more locations were experienced using an Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Device. 

Reliance Mall plan to keep connecting with its customers in an innovative way, with a view to leave a lasting impression and build a happy brand connect. 

Mr. Darshak Mehta, Vice President at Reliance Retail, Mall Management Team shared, “This was our pilot project where we gave our customers a virtual reality experience. After seeing the amazing response we have received, we intend to take this to our malls across the country. National Tourism Day celebrates our beautiful country, the monuments and we ensured through our initiative, customers could see the various locations and monuments from Reliance Mall.”
