Relive the 80s with 'Jeete Hain Shaan Se'on 17th January at 7 PM on Zee Classic

Adhering to its core proposition ‘Woh Zamaana Kare Deewana’, Zee Classic, for the first time showcases the gripping action thriller ‘Jeete Hain Shaan Se’ on Sunday, 17th January at 7 PM. Directed by Kawal Sharma, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt and Govinda amongst others. One of the highest grossing films of the year 1988, viewers can once again groove to the film’s popular dance number ‘Julie Julie’ by Anu Malik famously picturized on Mithun and Mandakini.

The movie revolves around Johnny (Mithun Chakraborty), Govinda (Sanjay Dutt) and Iqbal Ali (Govinda), three close friends. The trio in their efforts to help others get on the wrong side of a local gangster, DK (Danny Denzongpa). Things take an unpredictable turn when best friends Johnny and Govinda turn against each other due to a misunderstanding. It is then up to Iqbal to find a solution to end the enmity between Govinda and Johny, before DK takes advantage of this situation.
