Research & Ranking appoints Raakesh Malhotra as Chief Sales Officer

Research & Ranking, India’s leading equity investment advisory brand and a part of Equentis Wealth Advisory Services Private Limited has announced the appointment of Raakesh Malhotra as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) in a bid to further strengthen its core team. Raakesh will report to Manish Goel, Founder, and Director, Research & Ranking. Raakesh will be responsible for business development and revenue generation in his new role. 

The appointment is in line with R&R’s plans to drive exponential growth and its target of onboarding 1 lakh customers by 2024. Speaking on the new appointment, Manish Goel, Founder & Director, Research & Ranking shares, “Within six years of our existence, we have become the market leader in equity advisory - one of the fastest growing segments in India. Currently, we stand at a 70% renewal rate of which 23% of customers who take annual subscriptions end up becoming premium members. We have had a 100% revenue growth in the last 3 years and have achieved a steady growth revenue at 2.4x in FY21-22.”

He further adds, “The next steps for us include expansion of our product portfolio, formulate B2B partnerships, raise capital for deeper market penetration and become a preferred workplace for best-in-class talent. Raakesh (CSO), will enhance strategic and operative build-out capabilities multi-fold for R&R. I am confident he will excel in his new role and responsibilities”

Before joining R&R, Raakesh was with Fintree Finance as Chief Business Officer (CBO). He has over two decades of experience working across industries and geographies with renowned firms like Holiday Inn, Birla AT&T, HDFC Bank, and Kotak Bank. He specializes in Business Planning, New Business Development, Sales Leadership, Credit Risk, Cross Selling, Retail Banking, Customer Relationship Management, Establishing Scalable Processes, Restructuring Systems, Loan administration, Liabilities Acquisition, and Leading and Mentoring a cross-functional team to drive organizational performance. 

Raakesh has completed Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from United Business Institute, Belgium
